Meet The Cookie Lady's Daughter
I didn't dream of being a professional cookier.
It took a lot of soul-searching to get here. But when I look back, it all makes perfect sense.
My mom sue loved baking. She was home with us most of the time and always included my four siblings and me in the kitchen. Growing up, I remember following Mum like a line of ducklings on weekly visits to my Dad's workplace-where she also worked part-time-to deliver cookies to everyone. It was her time to shine as people gathered around to enjoy a homemade cookie and catch up.
So much joy from such a simple act.
Mom quickly became known as "The Cookie Lady," which inspired my business's name.
Despite these happy memories, I never imagined I'd bake professionally. In fact, I spent over a decade in a lab culturing cells. I'd bake for fun and stress relief, but it wasn't until I discovered the art of decorated cookies that I became full-on obsessed. What started as a hobby became a side hustle and then a full-time profession!
Besides the enjoyment I get from baking, decorating, and taste-testing, I love working with other small business owners, teaching classes where icing is a key component, and facilitating memory-making. It's pretty surreal and amazing that "work" for me is inspiring connection through cookie decorating. Talk about grateful.
The Cookie Lady's Daughter specializes in sugar cookie decorating classes, take-home cookie decorating activities, and corporate logo cookies in the Worcester area.
Everything we offer makes it easy for you to create and enjoy beautiful cookies with your friends, family, team, and customers.
Even though I delight in a good cookie, what I find most satisfying about my work isn't actually the cookies at all. It's how the cookies can make memories and bring people together.
So, what are you waiting for? Let's make life a little bit sweeter!
